Chase Narrative:

We woke up in Dumas with a mostly optimistic view that there might be tornadoes south of there. My original target was southwest of Childress, but I thought Tulia or Plainview might be a good place to start.

We headed south from Dumas to Amarillo to Tulia before stopping to use the restroom and then heading east to see the storms that had popped up east of town in a mostly linear fashion and were slowly moving off the dryline. We sat near Silverton for a long while trying to decide which one to head towards as nothing seemed to be dominant. Eventually we moved to Brice and sat nearly an hour watching multiple storms pulse up, and yet nothing really becoming dominant.

Ended up chasing the 'tail end charlie' on that line eventually that originally started near Floydada and followed it to Memphis then to Hedley where it seemed like it might produce.

A couple of good cycles then it fell apart, nearly dissipating north of I-40. We were tired and done, and headed back to OKC arriving back in Norman around 10pm.
